About

Linda DeBoer, Clay Artist

I discovered my affinity for clay when I moved to Tucson 20 years ago and signed up for a community arts class.  My interest continued to grow and develop as I pursued local potters as mentors, national workshops and learning opportunities.  Today I have a home studio and participate in select local art shows and sales.

I work with high-fire clays and glazes.  My work is both wheel-thrown and hand-built, functional and non-functional.  The palette of the Southwest is my inspiration and the flora and fauna of the desert are reflected in much of my art.

Currently I am most interested in sculptural relief collages and mixed media, dimensionally framed.
